Easter 2011

We had a few fun activities to celebrate Easter this year. We were able to have a flashlight egg hunt with the Hafens that was a really fun.

We went to Mesa to see the Easter pageant and that was awesome! Then the day before Easter we had a BBQ with the Eves Family (immediate and extended families) that we now affectionately call the "EVES"ter BBQ. We always have a huge egg/toy hunt on the Saturday before Easter with good food and great company. Then on Easter Sunday we enjoyed a nice dinner with the Hafens. We love our families and are so grateful we have many opportunities to spend time with all of them.

Erick's 7th Birthday!

Erick's birthday was the same day as our annual "EVES"ter BBQ at our house, so we celebrated a little early since we were out of school for spring break. I had just started back to work and was working full time, so I decided the theme for Erick's friend party would be "easy." We went to McDonald's and had lunch and ice cream cones and played in the play area. Erick is such a great kid! He loves sports and video games and does his best at everything he tries, not to mention he says some pretty funny things! We are so grateful he is a part of our family!
