Halloween 2012

I am a little sad to think about my kids growing up so fast, Halloween isn't as exciting for them now as when they were little. This was Rachel's last year for the Fay Galloway costume parade. She was a very pretty spider queen. The costume was compliments of the Edwards family-so cute!
Erick's costume wasn't as easy as borrowing one! We must of searched 7 stores to find a costume that fit his criteria and fit! He finally settled for THOR. Complete with hammer and muscles!
They both decided to enter the Pumpkins and Poems contest this year at school. Brian-who is far more artistic than I -helped Rachel with her minnie mouse. Erick did a great job with his spider pumpkin. Both wrote poems to accompany their pumpkins -and both placed in the contest! I am glad they want to participate in something that is artsy!
As for the trick or treating, they just wanted to stay at home and pass out candy. So we all sat out front and Brian and I gave them lessons about who to give the good candy to, and what to give the teenagers who aren't dressed up that come around with pillow cases. It was fun times!
