Epcot Center was so awesome! We originally thought we wouldn’t be that busy at Epcot, but we were wrong. We didn’t get to do as much as wanted to. Our group started with the most popular ride, TEST TRACK. You board a car and it takes you on a test track, testing the cars’ ability to withstand heat, cold, bumps in the road, braking, and then just when you think the ride is over the doors opened up and let you to an outside test track where the cars went as fast as 60 miles per hour. It was like a fast convertible ride! Next we headed to Misson Space, which was a simulated Rocket to the moon ride. Not fun for those who don’t like confined spaces, but the kids liked it. Next was Soarin’, then a boat ride. By then we were ready to go to the World Showcase Pavilion. We started in Canada and ate at the critically acclaimed “Le Cellier” steakhouse, which was amazing. I loved my dessert “moose, mousse”. After Canada we headed towards United Kingdom and let the kids become secret agents. They received a secret misson from Kim Possible and took a cell phone around the countries where they solved mysteries as they heard clues on their phones. They loved it! Meanwhile the adults just tried to take in the sights of France, Morocco, Japan, America, Italy, Germany, China, Norway, and finally Mexico. They had a fun ride in Norway called Maelstrom that took us on a Viking voyage, and the boat went backwards. We also went on the musical boat ride 3 Caballeros. After that we split up; Brian and I had our eye on a French pastry shop we wanted to try. Then just the Hafens and my mom, got on a bus to head over to another property for our dinner show, “Hoop De Doo Revue.” Although it took us FOR-EV-ER to get there, it was worth it. Upon being seated we were presented with steel buckets of food! Salad, fried chicken, BBQ ribs, mashed potatoes, and cornbread. During our feast we were entertained with a little comedy/musical. Even the kids were laughing their guts out! The experience ended with our waiters on stage doing the Can-Can while holding our dessert, strawberry shortcake. It was really fun, and something we probably never would of done if we hadn’t been on the Disney Dining Plan.

Our last day of magical fun we decided to return to Magic Kingdom for a last few thrills! We rode our favorites again: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribean, Buzz Lightyear, and used up the rest of our snack credits. Then we went to our final character dinner at Chef Mickey’s in the Contemporary Resort. All the classic characters were at this buffet: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto. It was fun getting their pictures and autographs in the kids’ books. The kids loved the ice cream bar and Mickey Mousse Cookies. We had such a blast and we’ll remember this trip forever! I am so glad we had the dining plan, we never would of paid out of pocket for all this special dinners that we got to do, and it was that extra Disney touch that made this vacation Magical!
