Cousins Movie Party

During the first week of summer vacation I sat down with the kids and we made a list of all the things they wanted to do during their long break. One thing on that list was to have a cousins movie day. So the kids made invitations on the computer and invited all of their cousins that live here to come for the showing of: "Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore." Not the best movie, but there were not a lot of options that most kids hadn't seen. So the kids earned tickets for a week to purchase movie tickets and treats at the concessions stand. When everyone arrived they took their tickets, showed them to their seats, and when necessary acted as ushers (complete with flashlights.) I think everyone had fun, and all the treats were gone by the end of the movie, so I count that as success!



(As a side note, we completed everything on their list except have a lemonde stand, so we'll shoot for that one next summer!)
