Halloween

This year for Halloween we decided to go simple!! The kids had a costume parade at school complete with the Panther mascot. We painted pumpkins that the kids entered in a school contest. Rachel and her team from her school class did Jack Skellington from the Nightmare Before Christmas and won first place in their grade. Erick did a DJ rapper pumpkin complete with poem which won 2nd place in his grade (unfortunately he took it apart before we got a picture.) Then he painted another pumpkin like part of his costume; a pokeball. Our ward had a trunk or treat and dinner so we spent most of the night there. The kids don't like door to door trick or treating anymore, (fine by me) so we were home and in bed by 9PM. Rachel dressed up as a cowgirl and we found all the accessories at Savers. Erick was Ash Ketchum, Pokemon Trainer. I was proud of them for not changing their minds once!!!
